Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Vice President, Alternatives Fund Controller to lead the accounting and reporting for a portfolio of sophisticated private credit and real estate funds. This role partners with Finance, Investments, Tax, Legal, and Compliance to build scalable fund finance infrastructure.

The role requires 8–15 years in fund accounting or related finance roles, strong US GAAP knowledge, and experience with evergreen/open-ended structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required.
• 8-15 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, audit, financial reporting, or investment management finance.
• Experience with evergreen, open-ended, or hybrid fund structures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with fund administrators and other external service providers.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and investment company accounting.
• Experience with complex investment accounting including private credit, real estate, or other alternative assets.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the financial oversight and accounting activities for a portfolio of complex alternative investment vehicles.
• Review and approve NAVs, investor allocations, fee calculations, capital activity, and other key fund accounting deliverables.
• Provide oversight of external fund administrators and ensure deliverables meet established accuracy, timeliness, and control standards.
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements, investor reporting packages, and supporting schedules.
• Direct the monthly and quarterly close processes and ensure reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.
• Collaborate with investment professionals on transactions and new investments to determine appropriate accounting and reporting treatment.
• Coordinate external audits, regulatory reporting, and other financial compliance activities.
