Job summary

Metric Geo seeks a VP (or SVP) of Development to build and lead an expanding affordable and multifamily housing platform. This entrepreneurial, autonomous role focuses on sourcing opportunities, structuring transactions, and driving projects through full-cycle execution.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in real estate development and 5+ years of deal origination, with a proven track record of personally sourcing and executing developments, especially in multifamily and LIHTC/bond contexts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of real estate development experience.
• 5+ years of proven deal origination.
• Track record of personally sourcing and executing full-cycle developments.
• Strong multifamily and/or affordable housing experience.
• LIHTC/bond experience preferred.
• Entrepreneurial, relationship-driven and comfortable working directly with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Originate and source new development opportunities.
• Lead deals from site control through financing, entitlements, construction and completion.
• Structure transactions involving LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, conventional financing and other capital.
• Build relationships with landowners, municipalities, lenders, investors and development partners.
• Help shape market strategy, partnerships and the future development team.
