Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a VoIP Support Engineer to ensure reliable operation of enterprise voice services across networks. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and restore VoIP and related services 24x7, coordinating with internal teams, carriers, and customers to deliver timely resolutions.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with SIP trunking, VoIP gateways, and Cisco Unified Communications, plus strong troubleshooting and customer service skills to maintain service quality in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Hands-on experience supporting VoIP and BVOIP.
Knowledge of SIP, H.323, MGCP, RTP, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, SNMP.
Experience with Cisco UC systems and VoIP gateways.
CCNA/CCNP/CCVP certifications preferred.
Two years of college coursework or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

Ensure reliability and 24x7 operation of voice services.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and restore VoIP services including SIP trunks and gateways.
Communicate outage status and escalation progress to customers and stakeholders.
Document call-flow analysis and troubleshooting steps in ticketing systems.
Escalate complex incidents to appropriate teams and vendors.
