Job summary

Leidos seeks a highly technical Senior Voice Engineer to join the UC&C Solution Engineering team. This individual contributor will lead SIP signaling, advanced call flows, and STIG compliance across DoD contracts.

Expect collaboration with LAN/WAN, Cybersecurity, and vendor partners while driving design standards across programs. The role emphasizes hands-on execution, root-cause analysis, and secure voice architecture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 12+ years in VoIP/UC/network engineering.
Active Secret clearance required.
DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification ability.
Expert-level SIP dialog and SDP analysis experience.

Responsibilities

SIP Dialog Analysis: senior escalation point for complex voice incidents across multi-hop paths.
Advanced Call Flows: troubleshoot transfers, conferencing, hunt groups, and cloud/hybrid routing through SBCs.
Media/SDP: diagnose offer/answer, codec, SRTP issues; one-way audio problems.
STIG Compliance: perform and document STIG checks and remediation; RMF input for ATO.
Layer 2/3 Networking: collaborate on voice VLANs, routing, NAT, and QoS with LAN/WAN teams.
Voice Platform Engineering: design, review, and guide voice UC solutions and standards.
