Job summary

Blooming Health, Inc. is hiring an AI Engineer with strong voice AI experience to design and build real-time conversational voice systems and orchestration layers.

You will collaborate with the Director of AI Engineering, product, and engineering partners to ship reliable AI features with attention to latency, evaluation, and data quality. You will work on audio pipelines, agent workflows, and tool use, ensuring scalable, production-grade Python across APIs, services, and orchestration code.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and shipping voice AI in production.
• Experience with speech-to-text, text-to-speech, telephony, or streaming audio pipelines.
• Understanding latency, interruptions, barge-in, turn-taking, transcription quality, and conversation flow.

Responsibilities

• Design and build voice AI systems for real-time, conversational experiences.
• Develop AI orchestration layers, including agent workflows and state management.
• Architect and improve workflows across speech-to-text, LLM reasoning, tool calling, and text-to-speech.
