Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Virtualization Engineer to design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. The role emphasizes automation, capacity management, and reliable operations for a large VMware estate, covering vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu.

This is a 100% remote, full-time position requiring 6+ years of VMware experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Five or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experience.
Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
Hands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management.
Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking.
Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and experience with automation tooling.
Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms.
Strong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM.
Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Focus on automation, capacity management, and operations discipline for a large VMware estate.
Work with vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu to support modern cloud-native workloads.
