Job summary
NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company seeks a senior hands-on virtualization architect/SME with proven VMware to OpenShift Virtualization migration in production. This role focuses on multi-site migrations, ACM, KubeVirt, and cutting-edge virtualization platforms, ensuring production readiness and thorough knowledge transfer to engineering and operations teams.

Qualifications
- Hands-on VMware to OpenShift Virtualization migration experience in production.
- Experience with MTV/Forklift Migration Toolkit for Virtualization.
- Strong KubeVirt administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced Migration Management (ACM) experience.
- Experience with multi-site, multi-cluster migration programs.
- Experience executing production cutovers, validation, rollback planning, and post-migration support.
- Operational readiness to prepare engineering/ops teams to support migrated environment.
- Strong knowledge transfer and documentation experience (MOPs, diagrams, runbooks).
Responsibilities
- Lead VMware → OpenShift Virtualization migrations in production.
- Plan and execute cutovers, validations, and post-migration support.
- Coordinate multi-site/multi-cluster migration programs.
- Triage migration issues and provide troubleshooting guidance.
- Prepare ops teams and create runbooks and training materials.
