Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Senior Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) Hardware Engineer to join the Phantom Works VMS hardware team. You will work across engineering disciplines to design, test, and validate VMS hardware, collaborating with requirement, software, and labs teams to implement designs for aircraft development programs in St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry).
• Level 4 (Senior): 9+ years with bachelor’s or 7+ with Masters or 4+ with PhD.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements decomposition and traceability from customer need to testable design.
• Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Design hardware, software, and interface specifications.
• Coordinate suppliers, test labs, and cross-discipline engineering to deliver on schedule and cost.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements and technical standards.
