Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Vehicle Management Systems Hardware Engineer to contribute to the Phantom Works Vehicle Management System in Berkeley, MO. You will design hardware, interface with software and labs, decompose requirements, and ensure traceability throughout the product life cycle.

Requires a BS in Engineering and 9+ years of related experience or equivalent, with a current or attainable US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or related fields.
• 9+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s, or 7+ years with a Masters, or 4+ years with a PhD.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements decomposition and traceability from customer need to testable design.
• Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Design hardware, software, and interface specifications.
• Define test and validation approaches to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance for integration and compliance.
• Coordinate suppliers, test labs, and cross-discipline engineering to deliver on schedule.
