Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Sr. VMO Analyst to join our IT Shared Services. Based in our Atlanta or Duluth office with a hybrid work option, you will oversee VMO processes, project intake, status reporting and PP&M system administration.

You will collect and analyze project data, perform benchmarking, and support quarterly reviews with strategic vendors, helping optimize contracts and spend across North America and globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, or related field.
• 2+ years as a project coordinator, data/BI analyst or similar role.
• 2+ years’ experience with BI, analytics and reporting platforms (Cognos a plus).
• 2+ years’ experience with PPM platforms (Daptiv, Clarity, Planview, etc.).
• Strong understanding of project management methodology.
• Ability to prepare reports, agendas, minutes and other docs.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Advanced SQL data query skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
• Ability to work in a complex, diverse environment with teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Establish end-to-end procurement and contract management aligned with global VMO policies.
• Build strong relationships with strategic technology vendors.
• Negotiate software, hardware, labor and security contracts.
• Develop contract negotiation strategies for the technology org.
• Partner with Global VMO on DocuSign CLM implementation.
• Manage contract lifecycle and track renewals.
• Leverage spend to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Conduct market research to inform cost/benefit analyses.
• Lead Quarterly Business Review meetings with vendors in NA and globally.
• Collaborate with IT VMO to define and document processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
