Job summary

BBG Ventures, LLC is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Procurement Operations on a contract basis in a hybrid Atlanta, GA setting. The role leads procurement strategy, inbound logistics, and materials governance to support growth, with a focus on cost optimization and supplier collaboration.

The candidate will drive digital procurement capabilities, partner with Finance and Operations, and ensure governance and compliance across the supply base.

Qualifications

• 10+ years driving procurement and materials leadership in a strategic supply chain role.
• Experience with supplier strategy, cost optimization, and cross-functional leadership in CPG/manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of procurement, materials management, and transportation operations.
• Expertise in SAP and procurement/supply chain systems; strong governance and ethical sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy across raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend; negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
• Drive cost optimization, productivity, and value creation with accountable spend portfolios.
• Establish inventory targets and governance for materials; manage start-ups, replenishment, and obsolescence.
• Define inbound transportation strategies and mitigate logistics risks during supplier transitions.
• Implement digital procurement capabilities (e-sourcing, automation, dashboards) and promote data transparency.
• Support commercialization and product launches with strategic sourcing input.
• Inform leadership on cost, service, risk, and working capital performance.
