Job summary

Precise Systems in Oxnard, CA is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead VLS technical execution, including launcher installation, upgrades and testing. The role requires producing and updating shipboard procedures and test plans while guiding failure investigations.

You will analyze launcher software, maintain hardware/software manuals, and drive integrated product support across lifecycle documentation and interface control artifacts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years supporting MK 41 VLS In-Service Engineering.
• Experience with LCU/launcher hardware failures and troubleshooting.
• Authoring shipboard manuals and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical execution for VLS tasks, installations, upgrades, testing.
• Lead failure investigations and troubleshooting with diagnostics.
• Develop and maintain technical manuals and procedures.
• Support lifecycle documentation and IPT/CTS processes.
