Job summary

Optum is seeking a Senior Developer, Visualizations to design, develop, and deliver scalable BI solutions using Power BI and SQL. You will transform healthcare claim and revenue cycle data into dashboards and decision-support tools for pre-sale, post-sale, and operations.

You will work with analysts and cross-functional teams to align analytics with business goals, define KPIs, and ensure data quality and governance. Remote work within the U.S. is supported.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Power BI development experience delivering enterprise-level solutions.
• 2+ years of SQL experience including complex queries, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• 2+ years designing scalable data models and analytics aligned to business needs.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare claims and revenue cycle data, including 835/837 data transformation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for broad business use.
• Translate complex requirements into effective visualization and analytics solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and governance across client and operational deliverables.
• Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and deliver actionable insights.
