Job summary

LegalZoom seeks a Senior Web Designer, Design Systems to craft intuitive, scalable marketing experiences. You will own a design system, pushing it from foundations to production components while guiding AI-first workflows and code-first delivery.

You’ll collaborate across brand, SEO, product marketing, partnerships, product, and engineering to ship improvements and major site revamps. The role blends hands-on design with AI-assisted coding in a hybrid, remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web marketing experiences.
• Strong portfolio showing UX/UI thinking, visual design craft, and design system work.
• Hands-on experience using AI in the design process.
• Fluency in Figma and component-based UX/UI design; able to work in a code-first environment.
• Comfort with AI-assisted coding tools to prototype and build.
• Knowledge of responsive UX/UI design, accessibility, design tokens, components, and prototyping.
• Component-driven CMS experience (e.g., Builder.io) is a plus.
• Experience designing conversion-focused experiences where trust and clarity matter; regulated fields a plus.
• Excellent visual judgment and strong communication and critique skills.
• Enthusiasm for defining how AI changes UX/UI at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the marketing web design system from foundations to production components.
• Simplify customer journeys to create intuitive, commercially effective experiences.
• Maintain high visual craft across typography, hierarchy, interaction, responsiveness, and accessibility.
• Refactor legacy experiences to evolve the system rather than create one-offs.
• Champion standards through reviews, documentation, critique, and implementation support.
• Use AI in your daily UX/UI design process from exploration to code delivery.
• Move between Figma, AI-assisted editors, and CMS to explore ideas and validate them.
• Prototype directly in code with AI and extend implementations when appropriate.
• Ship day-to-day improvements and major revamps; collaborate across teams on campaigns.
• Turn successful AI-assisted workflows into repeatable practices.
