Job summary

HEYTEA in New York is seeking a Lead visual designer to lead visual design projects for the North America market, including product launches, packaging, campaigns, and in-store materials.

You will participate in the full creative process, develop brand identity insights from North American culture, and push concepts across formats and channels. Based in New York, you will collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, and external partners to deliver cohesive brand experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Brand Design, or related field is preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in brand, visual, or graphic design, preferably within consumer brands.
• Experience participating in or building a brand’s visual identity from 0 to 1 is highly preferred.
• Proven experience independently owning and delivering complete design projects from concept to execution.
• Currently based in New York.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English, with the ability to use both as working languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead visual design projects for HEYTEA's North America market, including new product launches, packaging, collaborations, campaigns, key visuals, in-store materials, and other brand touch points.
• Participate in the full creative process, from early concepts and creative direction to design development and final execution.
• Develop a strong understanding of HEYTEA's brand identity and visual language, while bringing insights from North American culture, lifestyles, and aesthetics into the work.
• Think beyond individual design pieces and explore how creative concepts can be extended across formats, materials, channels, and consumer touch points.
• Independently own projects from brief and creative exploration through design development and final execution.
• Take initiative and drive projects forward once direction is established, without detailed instructions at every step.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, Supply Chain, and external partners to bring ideas to life.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize time and resources effectively.
