Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced visual designer to own and evolve the visual language of a data-rich platform, delivering clean, legible interfaces across dashboards and workflows.

Collaborate with product and engineering to build interfaces with high visual fidelity and contribute to design system governance. A strong portfolio and leadership in visual craft are required in a fast-paced startup setting.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in visual design, UI design, or product design with a strong visual focus.
Portfolio showing typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and data visualization.
Experience designing for complex, data-rich products.
Experience building or leading contributions to a design system, with a visual focus.
High proficiency in Figma.

Think in systems: collaborate with the team to develop high fidelity patterns that act as building blocks across our platform, from dashboards to data-dense workflows.

Requirements

High proficiency in Figma.

Comfort giving direction and feedback to other designers on visual craft.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment.
