Job summary

Apple’s Creativity Apps team is seeking a Sr. Computer Vision & ML Engineer to craft agentic workflows and user-facing ML for creative tools.

You will design multi-step workflows, build and evaluate vision models end-to-end, and collaborate to deploy models into runtimes and orchestration frameworks. You should have a PhD (or MS) in CS/ML and 4+ years of industry experience in generative AI or computer vision, with strong ML theory, practical skills in Python/C++, and familiarity with Core ML,

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in CS/ML; emphasis on vision/AI research.
• Production deployment of agentic systems; AI reliability and safety.
• Fine-tuning LLMs or adapters for foundation models.
• Experience w/ Core ML, Swift, iOS/macOS is ideal.
• Strong patent/publication record at top conferences.
• Interest in photography and its technical aspects.

Responsibilities

• Design agentic workflows solving multi-step user problems using model tool contracts, schemas, and orchestration.
• Build vision models end-to-end including data collection, architecture, and training.
• Create evaluation frameworks for agentic workflows with metrics and benchmarks.
• Partner with client teams to integrate models into runtimes and orchestration frameworks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ship ML-powered features for creators.
