Job summary

METRIX IT SOLUTIONS INC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Specialist to manage Windows server environments, virtualization platforms, and incident resolution across VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, and Windows Server.

You will lead cross-functional teams, triage high-priority incidents, implement SIPs to improve stability, and collaborate with vendors. Strong client-facing communication and 10–12 years in core support are required.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in IT service delivery, preferably in core application support management.
• Proven experience in high-volume environments such as call centres or technical support operations.
• Strong background in triaging, ticket lifecycle management, and 24x7 support models.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance through metrics.
• Experience in consulting, root cause analysis, and requirement documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Deploy, configure, and manage virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, and Hyper‑V.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper‑V infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with vendors (HPE, Nutanix, VMware, Microsoft) to resolve critical incidents.
• Manage Windows Failover Clusters on Windows Server 2022 and 2025.
• Upgrade and patch VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter infrastructure per best practices.
• Perform Hyper‑V patching and S2D configurations; build host infrastructure across virtual platforms.
• Develop and utilize automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to streamline operations.
• Participate in on-call support rotations; monitor incidents through ServiceNow.
