Job summary

Centurion Consulting Group seeks a Virtualization SME to provide technical leadership for designing, implementing, and operating enterprise SDDC with a focus on VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, and NSX. The role drives architectural decisions, optimizes for performance, and ensures scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years leading virtualization administration.
• Experience managing VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar platforms.
• Must have VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) experience.
• Automates IT administration with Azure DevOps/Azure CLI/PowerShell/PowerCLI.
• Ability to integrate infrastructure tools with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and evolution of VMware-based SDDC environments (VCF, vSphere, vSAN, NSX).
• Plan workload migrations and data center transitions across environments.
• Oversee backup and disaster recovery strategies and runbooks.
• Coordinate patching, upgrades, and bundle management for VCF domains.
• Ensure security controls and compliance in the infrastructure platform.
• Mentor engineering and operations teams on best practices.
