Job summary

CXD Ventures is seeking a Senior Video Editor to lead direct-response paid social editing, producing high-volume creatives for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube with fast turnarounds. The role targets becoming the Lead Editor as the team grows, under the guidance of the Head of Creative.

You’ll review peers, document successful hooks and pacing, and collaborate with strategists to ensure concepts are executed as intended. This remote US role offers room to advance and shape workflows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years editing paid social ads for DTC/eCommerce brands.
• Portfolio of paid social ads that have performed at scale.
• Deep understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, storytelling, captions, B-roll, and first 3 seconds.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects; CapCut is a plus.
• Experience reviewing or mentoring other editors and giving actionable feedback.
• Available 30-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-converting paid social video ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube at volume with fast turnarounds.
• Review other editors’ cuts and give clear, specific feedback that improves the next version.
• Document what works: hooks, pacing, captions, and structures so the team can repeat it.
• Partner with Creative Strategists to ensure concepts are executed as intended.
• Own deadlines and output without needing constant direction.
• Help refine workflows, templates, and QA as the team scales.
