Job summary

Goldman Sachs Bank AG is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Controller Operations professional to strengthen compliance across non-financial reporting obligations. The role focuses on risk controls, data quality, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Compliance and Legal to support accurate regulator submissions.

You will analyze complex data flows, develop SME knowledge of US regulations, and drive automation to improve reporting processes while mentoring team members to meet risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in financial services.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to understand complex workflows.
• Clear written and verbal communication with timely escalation.
• Interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated team player with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of financial markets, regulatory landscape, and associated processes.
• Familiarity with equities, fixed income, and derivatives is a plus.
• Experience in project management and business analysis is an advantage.
• Interest in data analysis, automation, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage key risk and control processes to ensure compliance with non-financial regulatory reporting obligations.
• Develop extensive subject matter expertise in major American regulations (eg. Section 13, Section 16, LOPR, FINRA 4560, BHCA).
• Consult on business and functional projects to facilitate compliant commercial activity.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders in the business, Engineering, Compliance and Legal to support reporting functions.
• Delve into complex system infrastructure to understand impact of data flows and booking models on reporting quality.
• Leverage data analytical and automation tools to detect anomalies in reporting data and improve reporting processes.
• Design and lead the implementation of solutions to deliver best-in-class system and control frameworks quality.
• Train and motivate colleagues to achieve personal and departmental business and risk targets.
