Senior Vice President, Enterprise Quality Outcomes & Performance Management

Office Location: Remote based within North Carolina and will require travel throughout Trillium’s Catchment area and in person attendance at business events and meetings throughout the year.

POSTING DETAILS:

Make an Impact

Trillium Health Resources is a local governmental agency (LME/MCO) in North Carolina that manages serious mental health, substance use, and intellectual/developmental disability services. Serving in 46 counties, we help individuals and their families strengthen well-being and build foundations for a healthy life.

Join our team as we empower others to live their best lives by providing access to quality healthcare. We offer a challenging, engaging work environment where staff take home more than a paycheck. Every day, we see the results of our dedication – in the smiles of children on our accessible playgrounds and in the pride on the face of an adult cooking a meal for the first time. Working at Trillium Health Resources is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to make a direct impact on the communities we serve.

At Trillium, we know that empowering others begins with supporting and developing our team. That’s why we offer competitive benefits and work-from-home flexibility so that our employees thrive outside of the office. We’re also committed to building a diverse, inclusive culture where all employees have the potential to grow professionally and personally.

What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a leadership career opportunity for a Senior Vice President, Enterprise Quality Outcomes & Performance Management (SVPEQO) to join our Care Management team. This position is a critical leadership role that is responsible for the implementation of programs and initiatives leading to a competitive, integrated care managed care organization focused on quality-driven care, member health, and cost-effectiveness. Under the leadership of the Chief Clinical Operations Officer (CCOO), the SVPEQO will facilitate enterprise cross-functional initiatives required to achieve Clinical & Quality Effectiveness through proactive provider network engagement, robust population health management, exceptional HEDIS performance, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), and a strong emphasis on Value-Based Care (VBC).

On a typical day, you might:

  1. Determine relevant and measurable quality metrics aligned with national standards (e.g., HEDIS, CMS Star Ratings), emphasizing outcomes over process.
  2. Prioritize population health by focusing on proactive care management for chronic conditions, preventative services, and addressing social determinants of health.
  3. Explore opportunities to integrate VBC and CQI into quality-based payment programs.
  4. Partner with Network, Med Econ, VBC, and Clinical Services to identify high-value providers by market analysis or score-carding.

Employee Benefits:

Trillium knows that work/life balance is important. That’s why we offer our employees competitive benefits and flexibility that is second to none. Take a look at what we have to offer:

  1. Typical working hours are 8:30am-5pm
  2. A remote work option available for most positions
  3. Health Insurance - no premium for employee coverage
  4. Flexible Spending Accounts
  5. Paid Time Off (PTO) of 24 days, plus 12 paid holidays within the first year of employment
  6. 401k with 5% employer match & immediate vesting
  7. Public Service Loan Forgiveness Qualifying Employer

Qualifications:

Education: Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Public Health, Health Administration, Human Services related field or Business Administration related field.

Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of combined progressive leadership experience in a managed care or health care environment, with a focus on value-based care, population health, and quality improvement including: at least five (5) years of experience with a managed care organization, at least five (5) years of supervisory experience, at least five (5) years of experience leading or directing interventions on HEDIS measures, or applying NCQA accreditation standards, or other regulatory requirements, at least three (3) years of experience implementing health care strategy at the health plan level and at least two (2) years of experience successfully implementing value-based care programs.
