Job summary

WaterBridge is seeking a Senior Reliability Technician to improve the reliability, availability, and performance of variable frequency drive equipment across our facilities. You will combine hands-on field diagnostics with data-driven analysis to reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life.

You will lead VFD startups and commissioning, partner with maintenance, operations, and engineering, mentor junior technicians, and contribute to reliability standards and PM/RCM practices across sites.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on troubleshooting on low/medium-voltage drives.
• Oilfield or water-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to read fault logs and diagnose supply vs load issues.
• Knowledge of Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and SCADA integration.
• Familiarity with RCFA, RCM, FMEA and 5 Whys.

Responsibilities

• Lead VFD startups, shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering to fix issues.
• Support spare parts strategy and criticality for rotating assets.
• Mentor technicians and contribute to reliability standards.
