Job summary

WaterBridge is seeking a Senior Reliability Technician to improve the reliability and performance of variable frequency drives across our field assets. This hands-on role combines diagnostics with data-driven analysis to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

You will lead field activities, support PdM/RCM initiatives, and collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams. Travel to site locations is required; overtime may be necessary to support commissioning and outages.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on VFD troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
• Proficient with drive fundamentals (rectifier, DC bus, PWM, IGBTs).
• Experience with Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and SCADA integration.
• Familiarity with RCFA, RCM, FMEA and 5 Why methodologies.
• Ability to travel to field sites.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and analyze VFD performance across sites.
• Perform RCFA and propose corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Use condition-monitoring to detect degradation early.
• Trend VFD parameters via SCADA and AI tools.
• Lead field inspections and reliability risk assessments.
• Support ad hoc reliability initiatives and special projects.
