Reliability Program Support
  • Leverage CMMs program (work orders) to improve failure coding, close out quality, analyze WO history and validation of asset data feeding the WO.
  • Support and continuously improve WaterBridge’s reliability program, including predictive maintenance (PdM), preventive maintenance (PM) optimization, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) practice through work order scheduling and collaboration with stakeholder groups.
  • Participate in Management of Change (MOC) reviews for equipment modifications, upgrades, and repairs.
Technical & Field Support
  • Lead field support during VFD startups (PSSRs), shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning activities.
  • Partner with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions.
  • Partner with internal I&E stakeholders and vendors during install, teardowns and repairs
  • Support spare parts strategy and criticality assessments for rotating equipment assets.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Work cross-functionally with maintenance and operations to prioritize and close out reliability improvement actions.
  • Mentor junior technicians on reliability best practices and diagnostic techniques.
  • Contribute to reliability standards, procedures, and best-practice documentation across sites.

  • 5 years of hands-on troubleshooting on low and medium-voltage drives. Oilfield or water-handling experience strongly preferred.
  • Expert understanding of drive fundamentals: rectifier and DC bus behavior, IGBTs, and PWM. Ability to read a fault log and tell a supply-side problem from a load-side problem.
  • Manufacturer specific experience preferred – Yaskawa
  • Understanding of Modbus and Ethernet/IP, and how drives tie into SCADA for remote monitoring and alarms.
  • Understanding of constant and variable torque applications
  • Understanding of enclosure cooling, dust ingress, cooling fan/heat sink wear.
  • Familiarity with reliability methodologies such as RCFA, RCM, FMEA, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret equipment and process data to identify reliability trends.
  • Ability to work in and travel to field environments
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable and understandable recommendations for cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with CMMS/EAM platforms (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) and reliability software tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with affinity laws is preferred.
Working Conditions/Environment:
  • This is a field-based role requiring regular presence at site locations, including exposure to outdoor industrial environments, noise, heights, and confined spaces as applicable. Occasional off-hours support (e.g., during commissioning or equipment failures) may be required.
