Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in good standing.
• Minimum of three years as a licensed technician; leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and radiology.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily surgical operations.
• Prepare patients for surgery and oversee anesthesia and recovery.
• Maintain efficient surgical flow and scheduling.
• Mentor and train team members in surgical practices.
• Adapt to different doctors’ styles and pace in the OR.
• Prepare estimates and communicate with the team.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and surgical suite readiness.
• Delegate tasks to ensure seamless, team-based care.
