Job summary

Nautilus International Holding Corporation is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead day-to-day vessel operations at the Redwood City Terminal. You will direct union labor, allocate resources, and drive safe, efficient cargo handling while reporting to the Senior Operations Manager.

You will oversee multiple operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with customers and port authorities. Requires 3+ years in operations leadership; TWIC and driver’s license required, with a salary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a relevant operations leadership role.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises cargo-handling operations on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Manages labor allocations, manpower assignments, and hiring needs for vessel operations.
• Dispatches labor and makes operational decisions with minimal oversight.
• Ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and health policies across operations.
• Interacts with customers, ship crews, agents, port staff, and regulators to optimize operations.
