Job summary

Nautilus International Holding Corporation is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead vessel operations at the Grays Harbor terminal. You will manage two or more operations, direct labor, and ensure safe, compliant cargo handling while coordinating with customers and stakeholders.

The role requires strong planning, independent judgment, and knowledge of labor agreements. You will work with diverse teams and external partners to optimize performance and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in terminal operations supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and TWIC credential.
• Knowledge of terminal equipment operations and labor agreements (PCLCD/PCMSC).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise cargo-handling operations across shifts.
• Dispatch labor and manage allocations with accountability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate vessel operations with customers, ship’s crew, and port authorities.
• Manage labor relations and resolve grievances with sound judgment.
