Job summary

Crowley Maritime Corporation is seeking a seasoned Marine Engineer to oversee engineering on assigned vessels, ensuring safe operations, repair planning and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate maintenance, manage vendors and budgets, and drive improvements across propulsion, electrical, and control systems.

The role requires a strong track record in marine engineering, USCG credentials preferred, and the ability to lead complex maintenance projects across fleets and dry-dockings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marine engineering or related field; 10+ years in engineering may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance, repair and safe operation of engineering on assigned vessels.
• Develop repair specs and oversee vessel repairs.
• Liaise with Chief Engineer/Captain on maintenance needs.
• Manage contractors, procurement, and budgeting for repairs.
• Schedule inspections with regulators and ensure compliance.
• Plan dry dockings and vessel overhauls.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
