Job summary

Crowley is seeking a Port Engineer to coordinate and oversee the maintenance, repair, and safe operations of engineering systems across assigned vessels and equipment. You will provide flexible technical and engineering support for Crowley Government Services’ fleets, including shipyard availabilities and emergent repairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering or related field.
• USCG license and/or maritime graduate preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in marine engineering; shipyard dry-docking exposure may apply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repair and safe operations of engineering needs for assigned vessels and equipment.
• Provide technical and engineering support across Crowley Government Services’ managed fleets.
• Develop maintenance strategies to maximize vessel availability and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with shipyards, contractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of repair projects.
• Monitor budgets, develop cost estimates and support procurement activities.
