Job summary

The Honest Kitchen seeks a Vendor QA Senior Technologist to lead and maintain the Vendor Quality Program on-site in Topeka, KS. You will manage specifications, COAs, vendor approvals, and NCR/SCAR processes with cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in a related field or 2+ years QA experience; HACCP preferred and PCQI a plus. Will travel up to 15% and work in a team-focused, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or related field.
• 2+ years of quality assurance experience in a relevant industry.
• HACCP certification preferred; PCQI is a plus.
• Food or pet food supplier quality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Vendor Quality Program elements.
• Train THK teams on vendor quality procedures and requirements.
• Review program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Review supplier COAs and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Monitor COAs, material performance and shelf life across suppliers.
