Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Food science or related field.
• If no degree, must have some level of food or pet food manufacturing experience.
• Certification in SQF, HACCP, or Internal Audit is a plus but not required.
• Limited Problem-Solving training a plus.
• Efficient use of MS Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Process Verification – Production Control.
• Performs Laboratory and Analytical Services.
• Performs Incoming Material Inspection As Needed – Materials Control.
• Develops, Implements, and Trains on Requirements for Outbound Truck Conditions Prior to Loading.
• Completes All Product Testing – Process Control.
• Performs Quality Production Data Analysis and Statistics – Process Control (SPQDC).
• Participates in Non-Conformance Materials / Deviation Process.
• Conducts Daily Product Reviews.
• Provides Suggestions for QC Specific Training Instructions.
• Ensures HACCP CCPs are checked, documented, and reported to QC Lead.
• Communicates any quality related production abnormality to QC Lead.
• Ensures documentation for daily review panels is organized for daily morning reviews.
• Supports the QC Lead in other areas as assigned.
