Job summary

The Honest Kitchen is seeking a Vendor QA Senior Technologist to lead the Vendor Quality Program, review COAs, monitor material control, and manage supplier compliance. This on-site role is based in Topeka, KS, with responsibilities spanning training, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field (or 2+ years QA experience) and are passionate about pet health, with travel up to 15% and a focus on on-site quality assurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years QA experience in food/pet food.
• Food or pet food supplier quality experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement elements of the Vendor Quality Program, including procedures and work instructions.
• Review COAs, monitor supplier compliance, and maintain material specifications.
• Manage SCARs and NCRs and track corrective actions.
