Job summary

42dot is seeking a Senior Vehicle Operations & Integration Engineer to support our vehicle fleet, lab, and autonomous vehicle programs. You will lead hands-on integration, validation, maintenance, and operational readiness of development vehicles for software-defined vehicle and autonomous driving initiatives.

You will collaborate with autonomous driving, perception, embedded software, infotainment, and hardware teams to ensure safety, functionality, and readiness for critical R&D activities.

Qualifications

• Experience validating infotainment systems and vehicle networks.
• Ability to perform functional testing across CAN, Ethernet and wireless interfaces.
• Experience with hardware/software release validation and regression testing.
• Experience documenting issues and supporting root-cause analysis.
• Ability to verify vehicle functionality after updates or modifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, integrate and troubleshoot autonomous driving sensor suites and vehicle instrumentation.
• Support prototype vehicle builds across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
• Validate hardware/software releases prior to deployment.
• Fabricate and install prototype brackets and harnesses for development vehicles.
• Coordinate vehicle modifications with engineering teams and vendors.
• Prepare vehicles for autonomous driving, ADAS, ML, and data collection programs.
• Deploy and validate sensors (cameras, radar, lidar, GNSS, IMU, DMS).
• Support vehicle bring-up and debugging of integrated platforms.
• Ensure data collection systems are calibrated before field tests.
• Provide field support during testing and demonstrations.
