Job summary

42dot Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Vehicle Operations & Integration Engineer to support its vehicle fleet, vehicle lab, and autonomous vehicle R&D efforts.

You will lead hands-on integration, validation, maintenance, and operational readiness for development vehicles used in software-defined vehicle programs and data collection. Qualifications

• Experience validating infotainment systems and vehicle networks.
• Ability to perform functional testing across CAN, Ethernet, wireless, and vehicle diagnostic interfaces.
• Experience documenting issues and conducting root-cause analysis.
• Experience with prototype development and hardware/software integration.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Integration & Prototype Development: install, integrate, and troubleshoot autonomous driving sensor suites and compute platforms.
• Support prototype vehicle builds including electrical, mechanical, and software integration activities.
• Assist validation of new hardware and software releases prior to deployment.
• Fabricate and install prototype brackets, harnesses, mounts, and supporting hardware.
• Coordinate vehicle modifications with internal teams and external vendors.
• Prepare development vehicles for ADAS, ML, and perception data collection.
• Deploy and validate sensors (cameras, radar, lidar, GNSS, IMU, DMS) and vehicle networks.
• Provide field support during testing and demonstrations.
• Ensure data collection systems are calibrated before field deployments.
• Document issues and support root-cause actions with engineering teams.
