Job summary

42dot Inc. is seeking a Sr. Staff Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex hardware, firmware, and software projects for our Software-Defined Vehicle platform.

You will serve as the core link between internal engineering teams, global stakeholders, and top-tier suppliers, guiding programs from concept through validation. In this role you will drive agile cadences, monitor progress along the V-model, and ensure ISO standards such as ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 are met while managing

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical project management for embedded/ automotive systems.
• 10+ years in engineering or technical roles with depth in embedded hardware-software interfaces.
• Hands-on agile execution with sprints and planning.
• Experience defining PRDs, MRDs, ERS in matrixed environments.
• Experience tracking milestones using V-Model frameworks and ISO processes.
• Vendor management for third-party software and silicon fabs.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, CodeBeamer.
• Ability to use AI/LLM tools to accelerate documentation and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Drive concurrent HW, FW, and SW engineering tracks for safety-critical SDV architectures.
• Coordinate development of PRDs, MRDs, and ERS across Engineering and Business teams.
• Lead weekly sprints, planning sessions, and retrospectives for engineering teams.
• Track progress through the V-model and ISO standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21434).
• Manage supplier relationships and development budgets; optimize product cost.
• Translate technical updates into milestones for non-technical stakeholders.
