General Motors Corporation in Milford, Michigan is seeking a Senior Vehicle Systems Engineer to lead hands-on sensor integration and on-vehicle testing across camera, lidar, and radar systems.

You'll plan data collection campaigns, coordinate with embedded, sensor, and perception teams, and document findings for scalable deployment of autonomous driving sensing architectures. Travel to test sites and collaboration across facilities are expected.

Qualificações

• Determine and validate sensor placement on test and donor vehicles.
• Plan and execute on-vehicle data collection: moving test vehicles on parking lots, closed courses, and public roads.
• Identify and mitigate physical/mechanical integration issues before late-stage fixes.
• Lead or support sensor-specific testing across optical and radar sensors.
• Debug and evaluate communication, timing, diagnostics on development and production systems.
• Collaborate on test and validation plan development with embedded, sensor, and perception teams.
• Document findings and test results in a complete and comprehensive manner.
