Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies seeks a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional programs developing advanced vehicle control subsystems. You will coordinate HW/SW integration across EV platforms, manage risks, dependencies, and verification plans.

You must drive schedules, align teams, and ensure timely delivery with strong engineering and program management skills. This role requires deep vehicle architecture knowledge and collaboration with HW/SW leads and validation

Qualifications

BS or MS in CS, EE, ME, Automotive Engineering or related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
5+ years in technical program management, with integration focus.
Experience with HW/SW integration in automotive/EV.
3+ years using SDLC and systems engineering principles.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end programs delivering hardware and software for vehicle controls subsystems across EV platforms.
Coordinate scoping, test plans, and integration milestones with multiple teams.
Collaborate with HW, SW, validation, and procurement to manage dependencies.
Develop timelines and allocate resources for subsystem integration.
Identify and mitigate technical risks and drive issue resolution.
Coordinate verification tests and promote automated validation.
