Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams in developing advanced vehicle subsystems, with a focus on early/new generation architecture. You will drive programs that integrate hardware and software for EV platforms, coordinating with HW/SW leads, validation teams, and test asset development.

The role requires deep technical understanding of vehicle architecture, interfaces, and dependencies, plus exceptional program

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end technical programs delivering vertically integrated hardware and software for vehicle controls subsystems across EV platforms.
Collaborate with HW/SW teams to scope integration requirements and coordinate test plans.
Work with Electrical/Mechanical Hardware, Software Development, and Validation teams for smooth integration and validation.
Develop subsystem integration timelines and manage resources, dependencies, and supplier deliverables.
Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies to minimize delays.
Coordinate development and execution of verification test plans and automation strategies.
Provide regular program updates to leadership and stakeholders; escalate risks when needed.
Identify opportunities to improve program management processes and testing workflows.
