Job summary

Rivian VW Group Technologies is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead end-to-end integration of hardware and software throughout the development lifecycle. You will serve as the key liaison between RVT and VW Group Brand program management teams, driving multi-disciplinary software programs across organizational boundaries.

The role demands proven TPM experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex dependencies and risks while delivering on ambitious product

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years relevant experience.
• 6+ years experience in Technical or Engineering Program Management.
• Experience with Systems Engineering principles.
• Experience with Hardware/Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experience with Test and Validation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Expert in agile and waterfall development using Jira and other PM tools.
• Understanding of hardware/software bring-up of distributed systems.
• Track record in software development project planning, progress tracking, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and maintain technical schedules and execution plans for multiple software development programs.
• Drive cross-functional software programs internally and with partners.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership to achieve goals.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and mitigate dependencies and risks.
• Ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and of high quality.
• Provide leadership to unblock obstacles and prioritize tasks.
• Deliver progress updates to the program team and executives.
• Escalate proactively before deliverables go out of bounds.
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements.
