Qualifications

• Graduation from a standard senior high school or GED equivalent is required.
• Four years of experience in regulatory programs compliance, inspection, enforcement, or technical instruction is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for work-related purposes is required.
• Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred and may substitute for two (2) years of the four-year experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced consultative services and technical assistance; conducts inspections and audits.
• Oversees and travels to conduct inspections to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Represents the agency to explain program requirements and train staff and stakeholders.
• Develops and presents training for agency staff, stakeholders, and regulated communities.
• Plans, develops, and updates program guidelines, policies, and web content.
