Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Analyst to join a government-focused program in Washington, DC. You will act as the subject matter expert, coordinating maintenance for mission-critical vehicles and ensuring accurate documentation within the system of record.

The role requires extensive hands-on vehicle maintenance experience, strong written communication, and active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• 11+ years’ experience as a vehicle maintenance analyst, mechanic, or similar role.
• Knowledge of automotive repair tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for vehicle repair facility, plan maintenance and document actions.
• Direct repair actions for HVAC, power steering, suspension, drive train, engine, and batteries.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance issues; assist with major component work and rebuilding.
• Provide on-the-job training and document maintenance outcomes in the system of record.
