Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist - Non-Driver in a hybrid role based near Phoenix, AZ. You will cultivate carrier relationships, manage a carrier database, and optimize logistics workflows across multiple internal teams.

You’ll drive cost savings, negotiate rates, and monitor carrier performance while supporting new services and projects in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 3 years direct experience with customer service and/or operations.
• 5 years automotive industry and/or logistics experience.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an advocate for our network of carriers.
• Form and maintain long lasting relationships with new and existing carriers.
• Leverage relationships to grow partnerships with contracted carriers.
• Resolve issues and address escalations promptly.
• Maintain database of carriers and participate in events.
• Host orientation calls for onboarding dedicated carriers.
• Identify opportunities to drive additional savings.
• Negotiate rates to secure competitive prices with market baselines.
• Lead conversations to terminate lanes/contracts when needed.
• Maintain termination records and support new business lines.
• Provide weekly regional Wins, Opportunities & Threats.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency.
• Be the go-to subject matter expert for your area.
