Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices.
• Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools such as drills and screw guns.
• Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards.
• One year experience in a related manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installation of various vehicle interior/exterior parts according to specifications and using hand tools, power tools, and production fixtures.
• Bolts, screws, clips, or otherwise fastens together parts to form subassemblies, such as doors, seats, instrument control panels, steering columns, and axle units.
• Seals joints and seams, using caulking gun.
• Fastens seats, door paneling, headliners, carpeting, molding, and other trim into position.
• Assembles fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
