Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles seeks an Electrical Assembler to join its manufacturing team in Grove City, OH. You will install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical components for ambulances, interpret drawings, and assemble harnesses and circuit boards to meet strict specifications.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, a solid understanding of 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry, and the ability to use volt meters, test lights, and common power tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices including, but not limited to volt meters and test lights.
• 2-5 Years experience in manufacturing
• Understand relationship between voltage, current, and resistance.
• Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools.
• Complete understanding of both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
• Must have good knowledge of automotive electronics.

Responsibilities

• Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.
• Assemble harnesses, cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components.
• Troubleshoot both 12 V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
• Troubleshoot all systems.
• Report repetitive quality issues.
• Be able to use hand and air tools as required.
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, orders, or reports.
• Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
• Test product to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to drawings specifications
