Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles, a Horton business unit, manufactures ambulances at its Grove City, Ohio facility. We are seeking an attentive cabinet assembler to read engineering drawings and fabricate components using a range of hand and power tools.

You will set up machines, mark dimensions, and prioritize tasks to meet daily production goals. Requirements include 1+ years in cabinet making or similar, ability to read drawings and measuring devices, and comfort with a variety of power tools.

Qualifications

• One or more years cabinet making experience or similar.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices.
• Familiar with the safe operation of various pneumatic and power tools: including but not limited to drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw and routers.
• Ability to use basic mathematics.
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinets from engineering drawings, utilizing a variety of different tools, and equipment.
• Installation, fabrication of cabinet components and hardware.
• Sets up and operates variety of machines and uses various hand tools to fabricate cabinets.
• Marks outline or dimensions of parts, according to blueprint or drawing specifications.
• Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.
