Job summary
Lucid Motors is seeking a senior acoustic engineer with deep expertise in acoustics, psychoacoustics, DSP, and vehicle audio systems. The role bridges acoustic science with practical implementation, translating measurement data, vehicle behavior, and customer feedback into production-ready audio solutions.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across telephony, DSP architecture, factory acoustic diagnostics, and real-world vehicle validation, with strong experimental skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Strong foundation in acoustics, psychoacoustics, and DSP.
- Experience developing, tuning, and validating audio systems.
- Experience designing experiments and interpreting acoustic data.
- Ability to diagnose complex technical issues across software, hardware, and system boundaries.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Translate measurement data, vehicle behavior, and customer feedback into production-ready audio solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across telephony, DSP architecture, factory acoustic diagnostics, and real-world vehicle validation.
- Diagnose complex multidisciplinary issues and guide decisions when data or requirements are incomplete.
- Collaborate with engineering, software, manufacturing, and validation teams; travel as needed.
