Job summary

PSEG Long Island LLC, a Fortune 500 energy company, seeks a senior data analyst to support Vegetation Management with geospatial analysis, GIS datasets, and ArcGIS Online applications. You’ll produce maps, dashboards, and reports to guide planning, risk assessment, and field operations.

This role collaborates with Reliability and IT to identify data needs, troubleshoot GIS platforms, and deliver timely insights. A strong background in ESRI tools, statistics, and data visualization is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in STEM discipline.
5 years of experience with large datasets and generating insights.
Experience with ESRI/ArcGIS software.
Statistics for trend analysis.
Knowledge of electrical distribution concepts and risk.

Responsibilities

Lead geospatial analysis and mapping initiatives for vegetation management.
Develop and maintain GIS datasets and ArcGIS Online apps for accurate spatial information.
Produce maps, dashboards, and visualizations; validate field data for planning and tracking.
Analyze data to generate actionable insights to improve program performance.
Collaborate with Reliability and IT to define data requirements and scalable solutions.
Troubleshoot GIS platforms and mobile data tools to ensure reliability.
Deliver timely reporting and performance dashboards for compliance and planning.
