Job summary

Fortis Construction, Inc. seeks a Sr. VDC Manager to lead strategic vision and standards for VDC across projects and units. You will develop leaders, drive consistency, and align VDC with safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals.

You will oversee VDC teams, partner with operations, preconstruction, and IT, and influence stakeholders at all levels while advancing advanced BIM/VDC tools and processes across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive VDC or construction technology experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, or related degree program, or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of VDC workflows and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a clear VDC vision aligned with Fortis’s strategic objectives.
• Establish and maintain consistent VDC standards, workflows, and best practices across projects or units.
• Identify opportunities to expand VDC impact beyond contractual requirements to improve safety, quality, cost, schedule and employee experience.
• Partner with Operations Technology, Data, and IT Teams to ensure VDC practices align with broader technology and data strategy.
• Evaluate emerging tools and workflows and guide adoption in alignment with company strategy.
