Job summary

Royal Electric is seeking a VDC Sr Modeler to lead the detailing efforts in drawings and supporting documents within the VDC department. You will mentor junior team members and develop advanced detailing workflows under the guidance of the VDC Supervisor and Coordinator to improve project quality and reduce field conflicts.

The role requires strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related BIM tools, with a focus on timely delivery and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in BIM environment.
• At least 2+ years of working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, Trimble and Bluebeam preferred.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, submittals and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of installation, prefab and other supporting drawings to Royal R-series standards.
• Maintain communication with VDC Coordinator & Supervisor and understand tasks to be performed.
• Suggest new methods to improve workflow, meet deadlines and budgets.
• Mentor junior modelers to ensure Royal standards are adopted.
